Many people regarded the 2020 Covid Quarantine as a great hardship and viewed their homes as a prison. For me, however, the quarantine changed the course of my life.

It was then that I finally had the time and mental energy to begin creating art again.

As a child, my father said I created snow in the house as my many paper projects often left behind piles of snipped paper and other materials. As an adult, I rarely had time to re-hone this skill as I was in school and then college, earning my Early Childhood Education degree. I worked in childcare all through those years as well as a year after finishing said degree.

Then Covid hit.

That was when I re-ignited the flame inside and began creating art again.

I started with painting, then began dipping into many other mediums. From there, I grew in my skill and confidence as an artist until I finally came to the conclusion that I wanted to go to art school.

I began my journey at Manchester Community College and hope to continue my studies elsewhere in the future.

I will graduate in 2022 with my Associates in Fine Arts.

From there, I intend to join an online tattoo program that will keep me busy practicing the art that I intend to turn into a career.

On the side, I fully intend to continue painting and gaming, as those are my passions. I am, however, eager to see where this path takes me and am excited about what the future may hold for me.

I am not just one thing, but a collection of things.

I draw pieces from my everyday interactions or simply a video or  image I scroll past on Instagram and that then inspires me to create something new.

I am unpredictable and strange, but I wouldn’t have it any other way.
